A route and departure decision, with evidence
Along Cast compares predicted weather exposure, trip time, daylight, and current Swedish road reports — then explains whether to leave as planned or consider another route or time.

Inspect each source, what it measured or predicted, when it was fetched, and its coverage and confidence.
Choose the route and time together. Departure, arrival, timeline, and next action update before you continue in Apple Maps.
Weather changes, Swedish road hazards, and roadside cameras share one route-ahead view.
Open a place on the route to see temperature, daylight, and what the road looks like there.
After the trip, see the distance, timing, and conditions that mattered along the way.
One tap turns your drive into an unlisted, expiring link. Anyone with it can open the page; live position sharing is separate and stops automatically.
No app needed. The page shows your route, the weather along it, and your live position moving down the road.
Along Cast combines predicted exposure, trip time, daylight, and current official road evidence where covered. It explains the tradeoff; it never labels a route safe.
Leave as planned or consider another route or time. The recommendation names the leading tradeoff and keeps uncertainty visible.
See Open-Meteo forecasts, official SMHI warnings, and Trafikverket reports with source type, freshness, coverage, and confidence.
Applying a route and time updates departure, arrival, timeline, and the primary action together. Apple Maps then recalculates its own route from the endpoints.
“Most weather apps tell you what a place will feel like. Along Cast answers the driver’s question: which road, and when? The answer includes its sources, freshness, and uncertainty.”
The current beta is about trust from verdict to follow-through: the recommendation, the route and time you apply, the source evidence, the next action, and what survives a relaunch must all agree.
On routes through Sweden, Along Cast can include current Trafikverket accidents, closures, road ice, roadworks, measured traffic, and roadside cameras, plus official SMHI warnings. Tell us when that evidence changes the decision — and when it becomes noise.
A screenshot plus a short note is enough when the image shows the place.
Use a familiar route so contradictions and stale evidence are easy to spot.
Especially useful: “the verdict says later but the button says now”, “this source is stale”, or “the old plan returned after relaunch”.
Use TestFlight for any contradiction, stale success state, inaccessible control, or privacy behavior that does not match what the app says.
